Keeping busy - First instructables post

Well, after spending far too long thinking about it, I finally got around to putting up my first instructables post thanks to a little prodding by snowninja7.

It's nothing terribly exciting (my ever faithful porch swing) but it's a start and I have plenty of other things to document. Now I just need to keep up with my Porject 365 stuff (I'm still doing it, but I slacked off on putting up photos for the last week or so when I was out of town). Feel free to check it out and comment, I suspect I will be putting up more projects there as time and motivation allow.

Pretty much just keeping busy and focusing on good things. I'm also playing around with the idea of (finally) making headway on a couple of my book/story ideas that I'd been ignoring (I may post my thoughts on that in the near future to get some general feedback from folks).

It's nice getting back to doing my own thing again. I know I said it last time, but I really need to remember to keep a hold of who I am and the things that I like doing. I really do need to stop making sacrifices for relationships. Well I need to stop doing that in situations where I'm the one putting most of my stuff on hold for someone else and they're not doing the same for me.

One of these days, I will learn. Honest.

Hurray for dead winds :)

I'm glad you guys have made it through the last batch of crazy weather ok. I think you definitely deserve some time hanging out on your porch swing and relaxing.
Good for you.
The swing looks awesome.
Thanks. It's definitely one of my favorite projects to date and it was even mentioned in another blog.

Not that it's a big deal, but it definitely made my day to see that someone I don't know saw it and liked it enough to post it in their blog.
