Slight Miscalculation

I went to Wally World with the intention of buying a single pan to tide me over while my stuff gets here.

I ended up buying a set of pans to replace my fairly worn pots and pans along with assorted other kitchen stuff.

I spent a wee bit more than I intended to.

It's not a major issue, but I'll be happy when I'm done settling in. Moving is surprisingly expensive (even if I hadn't bought the pots and pans I ended up picking up stuff like cleaning products, trash cans, etc... and those added up as well).

Oh well, cooking is now feasible so that's a good thing. Now I just need to get around to planning a few meals and buying supplies (on the plus side, I did finally find tortilla flour so that's one little annoyance off my list).

Well, time for bed.

Reminds me of my very first time at the grocery store right after moving away from my parent's home. I vowed then and there to never go grocery shopping without a list, a calculator and a set budget. Talk about being shocked. Moving is VERY expensive. It's easy sometimes to forget the little things that all add up to one huge deficit in your wallet.
