Hurrah for funky brain chemistry.

It's about 1:40 a.m.

After nearly 2 weeks of being exceedingly non-psyched about love/lust interests in general, I talked to X and I'm feeling a bit better.

Not like the whole world is ok and fine, but just feeling better.

Granted this might have something to do with the Tavist-D I took a little while ago (a legal mini-high available without a prescription), but I don't really care.

I've been listening to the song below for about 20 minutes on repeat. I've also been singing along to it in a mock quasi-Elvis voice. It's a fact of life. Every once in a while you just have to say fuck it, put some Elvis on the radio and be a complete and utter goofball. It doesn't matter if it's past my bedtime and I'm sick, broke, and lonely as hell. Elvis will make it all better.

I've also decided that Ocean's 11 is a kick ass movie because a) it has this song on it's soundtrack, and b) it's just a damn spiffy movie. If you haven't seen it yet, I highly recommend it. It's a great mix of what made the old ensemble caper movies great and what makes modern movies fun. Oh, and if anyone cares to make my day, they'll hook me up with this soundtrack ;).

Pixel and I missed having a little black cat around so I went to the pound Saturday afternoon and I found this little guy in need of a new home:…

  • RIP Morticia a/k/a Ninja Cat :-(

My little black cat died tonight. It was a sudden and surprising end to a great little cat. I'm doing ok, but I will definitely miss that…

  • Still alive!

Yes, it's true, I am still alive. Nothing particularly earth shattering has been going on lately, I've just been busy with work and then coming home…
