Something that X and I randomly talked about was music. Specifically, we were talking about what we liked listening to. I mentioned having a soundtrack. As in a personal soundtrack. Do any of you ever find yourselves with a soundtrack for your own life? I mean some random little bit of music that pops into your head at appropriate moments as you go about your day.

This was this weekend's soundtrack:

ZZ Top - Sharp Dressed Man
Rasputina - Transylvanian Concubine
Sam the Sham - Little Red Riding Hood
Elvis Presley vs JXL - A Little Less Conversation
John Lee Hooker - Boom Boom Boom
Eve & Fatboy Slim - Cowboy
No Doubt - Hey Baby
Moby - Flower
Aerosmith - Rag Doll
Basement Jaxx - Do Your Thing
Queen - We will Rock You
Steppenwolf - Magic Carpet Ride
The Isley Brothers - Do Your Thing
George Michael - Faith
POD - Alive
John Lee Hooker - Dimples
Five for Fighting - Superman
Tricky - Excess
Limp Bizkit - Rollin'
BeeGees - Staying Alive
Paulina Rubio - Y Yo Sigo Aqui

Some of the songs were just my weird sense of humor (e.g. Little Red Riding Hood while I was waiting to pick up X on Friday) and some were just cool driving songs when I was cruising around town on Sunday (unwinding and getting out of the house a bit ;). Although I will admit that I had Staying Alive playing in my head as I walked out of the airport that morning (and yes, I was strutting a wee bit ;).

you want to hear something sick? there are only 2 songs on that list that aren't like my "favorites". here here to good taste!
Cool, I knew you had good taste ;)

So out of curiosity, which are the 2 songs that aren't favorites? :)

well, this one i've never heard of- Paulina Rubio - Y Yo Sigo Aqui

and i loath limp bizkit... :)
That's cool.

Paulina Rubio is a fairly popular spanish pop singer. I'm not a terribly big fan, but she has 2 songs that I kinda like (that being one of them).

I'm not surprised about LB. I'm not a huge fan either, but there's like 5 songs that they did that I like (mostly just for driving around in Molly with the bass cranked up and showing up the low rider dweebs ;).
