Water water everywhere...

Well, we seem to be in the process of getting a good 25% of our yearly rainfall this month. This was the second day in a row of rain not to mention rain this weekend and last week. Its supposed to rain tomorrow which would suck since I'm supposedly helping my friend Portia move some furniture. Not to mention having to drive to Las Cruces (about an hour away). On the plus side, I haven't hung out with Portia in a while, so I'm looking forward to catching up on our various misadventures.

Oh well, Molly is behaving well, and right now she can handle driving in rain without a problem so I'm not going to fret. Oh and thanks to all the rain, Molly's been jumping in all the puddles on the roads out here. Its always amusing to careen through a huge puddle/lake in the middle of the road when everyone else crawls through. What fun is that?

Weird cable glitch thanks to the rain. Last night, for the first time ever, I had the TV cable not work while the cable modem worked fine. Very odd. Normally the cable modem is the first to crap out followed by the TV if it gets really bad. So I'm at home right now waiting for the cable guy to show up even though I called and told them that the problem looked to be sort of fixed (the TV signal is back). They said that they might as well have their guy check. I would have protested more, but I realized that I could ask him for the splitters I need to get the PIP working in the living room. If he hooks me up with that and the cable I need, I won't have to spend the $30 at Radio Shack.

Oh, and this is my 100th journal entry. Hurrah.

The cable problem might have been when they added the new channels (Ch 157 "DIY" DO It Yourself). hehehe...

btw, I have a splitter from the cable company. "PDI Mega Splitter / Digi-ready S1 / g-1000 Mhz 2-way"

has one "IN" and 2 "3.5dB" outs
