Bad Dragon, no Biscuit

Grr... damn it.

I am no longer allowed to log in and chat right before I'm going to do something. I enjoyed the conversations, but three hours later and I still haven't done what I was going to do and I really should go to bed now.

I picked up the Italian Job DVD this afternoon. I highly recommend it to folks who like caper movies. The plot and the overall feel of the movie is along the lines of the Ocean's 11 re-make from a couple of years ago. Very slick, and very Hollywood, but also very fun. It's just flat out entertaining.

I miss L. A lot. Remind me, why can't I turn off or remove that damn emotion chip?

Having turned off the damned emotion chip for a while and still trying to recover from that, it's just not the best way to go about things. As B&B said back in the day, you have to have stuff that sucks to have stuff that's cool - the two ends are too intertwined to avoid pain and only have pleasure. *shrug* Life sucks, but sometimes it's good at it. . .
sometimes mine turns off when I don't want it to. that's even worse. the first time it turned off was the first time someone told me they loved me. I think it overloaded and shut down. It sucked because it felt like I was lying when I told them I loved them back because the damed chip WASN'T COMMUNICATING. it took me about a week to recover. it has happened a couple of other times too. I hate being in the emotionless place. It's so... sterile. Empty. Meaningless.
Just got Italian Job from Netflix today... too bad there is too much baseball to watch, I'll prolly have to wait till Friday or so to see it. Unless I just accidently stop coming to work, which, right about now sounds GREAT!
Heh, oddly enough I don't have the baseball problem so I watched it last night ;)

I hope you dig it.

Kill Bill

11:00, 12:30, 1:25, 3:00, 4:00, 5:25, 7:00, 7:50, 9:25, 10:15, 12:00.

I might work a half-day in the morning, but if I can't get that job, the 5:25 might be the earliest I can do.

Re: Kill Bill

Sounds good. I don't think there's anything major I have planned for Friday. We're still finishing up paperwork and sitting on our hands waiting to start the new projects so I can probably get away for the 3 or 4 showing if you only have the half day.

Hopefully I'll be taking Winona to your uncle tomorrow to see if he can work his magic on her (finally got all the paperwork sorted out).

Re: Kill Bill

cool...maybe I'll swing by his shop sometime and watch the progress hehe

Re: Kill Bill

Well, if you do, be sure to let me know so I can tag along and watch too. Hopefully she won't be there too long.

fMRI tends to be kinda "fuzzy" but the stats seem pretty good. anway, they found that people who were snubbed during a ball game simulation had the part of their brain light up that's also active during physical pain. sounds like the ACC is your emotion chip... and there's another part that'll kick in to supress it. brains are funky.
