I felt a bit bad because right before the movie my dad called because his truck had died on the other side of town (this was right around 5pm though) but since I wasn't driving and there was no way I could make it out there in less than 1-1.5 hours and there were other family members who were much closer (like 10 minutes away). Of course ye olde Catholic guilt did still rear it's ugly head so I'm feeling a bit guilty even though there's nothing I could have really done about it at the time. Eh.
Anyways, after the movie we hit VI and I was once again perplexed by the cute manager who seems to be a bit 'friendlier' than I would consider normal (while I certainly don't mind it, I do find it a bit perplexing). We hung out at VI for a couple of hours chatting about random stuff and finally I made it home a bit before midnight to call it a night....
Except that I didn't. I stayed up chatting until the wee hours of the morning (just about saw the sun rise in fact). This wasn't such a good idea since I did have to be up early today.
Saturday: Some lawyer friends of my brother called me up a few weeks ago to fix their computers and their network. I'd been by to do a few emergency things, but today I had Dave give me a hand and we spent a good 7 hours installing updates, cleaning off spyware (,listening to ringtones), and figuring out what was going on with their network.
I was really dragging all day but we managed to get everything working and I just have to go by on Monday to check on a few things while folks are actually using the computers (and provide a replacement keyboard). All in all this should be a nice little job and there's a good chance they'll need a few more things done (they need a couple of new computers so I'll probably either provide the macines or help them set them up)
After the computer stuff, we grabbed a late lunch, wandered on by Best Buy and then I cam home and vegged in front of the computer and the TV for a while (I'm trying not to sleep early so that I don't screw up my sleep schedule even more). So yeah.
That's my exciting weekend so far.
