spooky old house

Almost forgot

Oh yeah, and pfjunkie reminded me that on 11/30 it will be 2 years since I moved into this spookyoldhouse.

Not only that, but Friday (11/19) was the 2 year anniversary of the house closing and I officially got the keys to my place on on 11/20/2002. Kind of amazing really. The renovations are going slowly, but there is definite improvement here and there.

I'm still just kind of blown away that it's already been 2 years. It seems like I just moved in (and no, I haven't finished unpacking all of the boxes yet ;).

haha dude i can sympathise on the boxes. i moved here 8/02 and im all about avoiding the stg unit like it was the plague >_
Heh, it's good to see I'm not the only one who hasn't quite finished moving in yet. I think I'd like to make a good dent in the amount of stuff in the basement soon though. I've been getting fidgety about doing stuff and I'm starting to get annoyed at how much stuff I can't find (and I know it's here, just haven't been inspired enough to dig through the boxes o' doom)

WOW! Time flies! I can remember when you were posting about buying the house.
heh, yeah. I remembered posting about it, but I could have sworn it hadn't been that long. It's strange to think back on just how much time has passed. Next thing I know it'll have been 5-10-20 years etc...
Congratulations on the anniversary! How time flies when one is having fun!!! Pretty cool to be able to claim home ownership. ;-)
Heh, given the headaches my house provided this month, I'm not sure "fun" is the appropriate adjective. Nevertheless, time does fly.

Home ownership is neat, occasionally annoying, and generally trippy. It's such a grown up thing to do and I definitely don't feel like a grown up yet. I still feel like a kid who's home alone (and a lot of times this becomes obvious by how often I tidy up and/or do things like mow the lawn etc... ;)
Heh, yeah, I'm hoping to do quite a bit of renovating once business stuff evens out a bit and I can afford it again.

So what are you planning on doing with your place?
Hey Vic, it's Jenny... just wanted to stop by and say hi. Just two short years ago, I had the good fortune of having you as a friend. I wanted to let you know that I haven't forgotten any of it, and I still appreciate every thing you did for me in my short time in Hell Paso.
Hey Jenny! I'm glad to hear from you again. Man, time does fly. I hope things are going well up in the semi-frigid North :)
