A 32-year-old man died this morning from gunshot wounds suffered in an overnight shooting, police said today.
Police were called to the the 2700 block of San Diego about 3:45 a.m. and found two wounded men, the 32-year-old who later died and a 38-year-old man, Police spokesman Javier Sambrano said.
Identities of the two men were not available.
Sambrano said the 32-year-old man was transported to Beaumont Medical Center, where he died.
The 38-year-old was transported to Thomason Hospital and remains there. His condition was not immediately available.
Sambrano said the incident did not appear to be gang related.
"At this point we don't have a motive," Sambrano said. "I'd be speculating. (But) it doesn't appear to be domestic violence related."
