iTunes, eat your heart out...

I know quite a few of my friends are big fans of iTunes, but I've never quite been able to get into it for two reasons. The built-in digital rights management bullshit that treats you like a crook from the word go and prices that are (IMO) ridiculous given what they're "selling" (or is it licensing?) and how severely restricted it is.

Because of that, I felt obliged to share this bit o Halloween cheer (from Boing Boing Digital Emporium):

31 scary old radio shows for Halloween ($1.99, MP3)

and here's the playlist, 12 hours, 35 minutes and 49 seconds of spine tingling old school radio plays for the low low price of $1.99 in a format you can put on your computer, mp3 player, CD, or whatever else you want.

Now, I could post the mp3 file that I just downloaded, but honestly, I really like the idea of supporting folks who put together stuff like this so for any of you folks who think Halloween is the best holiday of the year, check it out and enjoy some creepy stories.
