It kind of blows my mind that he actually does this. It makes great sense (especially when you compare it to Bush's "I don't read newspapers" stupidity) and it shows a level of humility that's really impressive. He's arguably one of the (if not THE) most powerful people in the world and yet he still believes that it's important to keep his ear to the ground and listen to what the constituents say.
I have no idea if any of his plans or ideas will work out the way we need them to, but something like this really gives me hope that things really can and will improve in Washington.
