Imagine.....

annemarie958's little rant here inspired this random bit of entertainment (for me at least ;). So I take full credit if it's amusing and it's her fault if it sucks ;).....

"Imagine.... livejournal is sloooow... it's easy if you try
No speed to speak of....
Annoyance all around us...
Imagine all the people unable to comment
aha aaaaa
Imagine no pictures... it isn't haaaard to do...

Nothing to complain about or whine over
and no lost posts too

Imagine a day with no errors
Yoooo-hoooo
You may say I'm a dreamer
but I'm not the only one
I hope someday you join us
and the free servers can handle the load...

Imagine no flaming or fighting...
I wonder if you can
No need for anonymous or blocking
A brotherhood of bits

Imagine all the featurrres working
yoooooo hooooo
you may say I'm a dreamer
but I'm not the only one...

I hope some day it happens and my subscription hasn't expired...."

Hey now

It's cute. I get some credit, huh? Yep, yep, come good karma is coming our way, Vic.
You are SOOOOO lucky you're a paid user. Otherwise, I would have shoved my foot so far up your ass...*lol*

I just hate it when people complain about the quality of a FREE service. It irritates me.

But you paid good money. Go ahead and rant. ;)

Actually.....

I'm a paid user x 2 (I also paid for dragonzworkshop recently). I honestly do like lj 99% of the time, but it reminds me of El Paso a little bit. It's a very large community with the mentality of a very small town. I think LJ will do a lot better once the powers that be figure out how to scale it up more effectively. This is why I cringe when I hear discussions about getting rid of the user codes and getting more people on the system quickly.

For the record though I am planning on getting actively involved in actually being helpful once I figure out who handles what and maybe if I can help with documentation or something. For now though I'm doing the lj equivalent of pushing buttons at random and seeing what they do :).
